Mandatory NAT Logs Compliance

This is an official compliance notice regarding NAT Logs Monitoring as per the latest Department of Telecommunications (DoT) regulations.

Regulatory Requirement

As per DoT guidelines, the NAT Log Server must be maintained at the customer's end. Due to routing, network, or transit limitations, uninterrupted log delivery cannot be guaranteed from our end under all circumstances.

Customers are required to deploy, monitor, and maintain adequate log servers, including multiple or redundant servers, to ensure continuous log availability and regulatory compliance.

Mandatory Monitoring Requirements

  • Daily monitoring of NAT logs is mandatory.
  • Automated log alert mechanism is enabled.
  • Missing log data will generate automatic alerts.
  • Repeated log failures may be treated as a compliance violation.

Liability & Responsibility Disclaimer

IPACCT shall not be held responsible for any missing, partial, delayed, or corrupted NAT logs caused by routing failures, network issues, insufficient disk space, server downtime, hardware failures, or improper maintenance at the customer's infrastructure.

The responsibility for maintaining the integrity, retention, backup, and availability of NAT logs rests solely with the customer. Customers are advised to ensure adequate server capacity, storage, monitoring, and redundancy to meet applicable regulatory requirements.
